Uganda COVID-19 cases rise in number

As of Friday, the cumulative confirmed cases had swollen to 12,410.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Uganda continues to surge after 209 new patients were announced on Friday night.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced over 400 new cases.

As of Friday, the cumulative confirmed cases had swollen to 12,410.

According to the ministry, two new COVID-19 deaths were also registered in Kampala, driving the total fatalities to 110.

However, 7,503 have so far recovered from the novel coronavirus in Uganda, with 4,907 still under medical watch.
