COVID-19 MTAANI

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.

The disease causes respiratory illness, like the flu with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing.

To protect yourself, you are required to wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face, and avoid close contact (i.e maintain a social distance of 1 meter or 3 feet) with people.

The national government has also asked Kenyans to put on face masks because this will keep you safe in case an infected person sneezes or coughs beside you. Ensure you put on a face mask whenever in public transport, supermarkets and open-air markets.
