MBARARA POLICE CLEARS NUP MANIFESTO LAUNCH,,BUT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 70 GUESTS…
Rwizi region police spokesperson, ASP Samson Kasasira has confirmed that tomorrow’s launch of National Unity Platform-NUP 2021-26 manifesto and official opening of their offices in Kakoba Mbarara city is cleared.
Kasasira warned candidates and the entire public to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures-SOPs in the fight against COVID-19 and avoid violence especially during this political season.
NUP Presidential Candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Bobi Wine is expected on this event, Buremba road in Kakoba.
Kasasira confirmed that security and other authorities inspected the venue and NUP officials have been cautioned to ensure that the event is strictly attended by 70 or less people as per the SOPs.
