Double blessings: Woman gives birth to 4 babies after losing 2 children 2 years ago

– However, their hearts were pieced together after the recently welcomed four beautiful baby girls into the world in what Wanjira called a double blessing – The parent also admitted it would not be easy raising four children and appealed well-wishers to help them provide for their children Ezekiel Ndegwa and his wife Teresiah Wanjira are a happy couple and are still thanking the heavens for blessing them double of what they lost two years ago.
The Naivasha couple welcomed four beautiful baby girls into the world and this meant so much to them because two years ago, they were broken after the loss of a son and daughter.
According to Ndegwa, their two children succumbed to health complications linked to the Rhesus disease and their death took them through an emotional roller coaster that threatened to ruin their sanity. “Our family, friends and the church stood by us at that difficult time and we are very grateful to them,” Ndegwa told The Standard.
The couple lost two children and were left broken by that loss.
Counselling and prayers helped get by that difficult moment and they later came to make peace with their fate. After she fell pregnant, Wanjira went for a scan and to say she was shocked after finding out she had quadruplets in her womb would be an understatement. She demanded a second scan just to be sure the first was not mistaken and indeed it was not. “It has been a tough time since we lost our children but the Lord has repaid us in double,” the excited mother said.
They, however, admitted the challenge that lay before them since raising four children simultaneously would not be business as usual. They thus asked for help from well-wishers to help in providing for the children. The doctor also admitted it would be a daunting task for the mother to breastfeed the four angels all who were in perfect health.
