Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake has unveiled a new car that has been added to Bobi Wine’s campaign convoy. The car will be used on National Unity Platform’s campaign trail to carry the public address system.
“I am happy to report to you that following last week’s fundraising drive conducted by Nubian Li and I via Facebook Live, we’ve raised enough money to purchase this vehicle that we have used on our President Bobi Wine campaign trail today,” Zaake said on Monday.
“Like we indicated then, we needed a vehicle of this kind to transport the public address system that we’re using for campaigns, owing to the challenges we have encountered so far with hired sound systems.”
He went on: “We are extremely grateful to you comrades here at home and in diaspora for having responded to our distress call with such generosity. Thank you so much!”
