Victor Kamenyo Allegedly Paid Peanuts To Withdraw From Rubaga North Race

Musician Victor Kamenyo declared he was withdrawing from parliamentary race for Rubaga North constituency on Monday.
Kamenyo, who was standing on People Power ticket told his supporters that he is no longer interested in politics.
He was allegedly paid Ugx 10M to give up his bid to run in the constituency.
He asked his fans to support the current KCCA speaker, Abubakar Kawalya, for the seat saying he is the suitable candidate.
It’s said that he will use the money to invest in his music career.
