Ugandan star Anita Kalule celebrates birthday in lockdown

On May 20, artist Anita Kalule celebrated her birthday — in quarantine. But it wasn’t one of those star birthdays which we are now seeing a lot of and which are mostly about posing alongside multi-tier creamy delights, for social media feeds.
Anita not to let any event become dull or morose. The next we knew, the artist got her friends — Jowie , Charles, Sandra, Smorkie and Iren— to partake in the virtual celebration via Facebook live and, at the same time, to help spread coronavirus message.
