Kyaggwe and Gomba Reach 2026 Masaza Cup Final

Kyaggwe and Gomba have booked their places in the 2026 Masaza Cup final after impressive performances in their respective semi-final ties.

Kyaggwe secured their place in the final following a goalless draw against Bugerere in the second leg. Despite neither side finding the back of the net, Kyaggwe advanced 1–0 on aggregate, having won the first leg.

The decisive defensive display ensured Kyaggwe maintained their slender aggregate advantage and completed their journey to the championship decider.

Ssenyonga Geofrey, wearing shirt number 20, was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance for Kyaggwe.

Meanwhile, Gomba also sealed their place in the final after defeating Butambala 1–0 in the second leg. The victory saw Gomba progress with a commanding 3–0 aggregate score across the two legs.

Gomba’s consistent performance throughout the semi-final tie underlined their title ambitions, while Butambala’s campaign came to an end after a determined effort.

With both semi-finals now concluded, Kyaggwe and Gomba will meet in the 2026 Masaza Cup final, with the prestigious title now just one match away.

The final is expected to attract significant attention from supporters across Buganda as the two counties battle for Masaza Cup glory.
