KCCA FC have learnt their Opponent at the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup after the draw conducted on Monday in Cairo, Egypt.
The 13-time Uganda Premier League winners will not feature in the first round,due to their performances in recent CAF tournaments in the past five years. .This means they will start this Campaign at the second round.
Consequently, KCCA FC will face winner between Orapa United (Botswana) and AS Kigali (Rwanda) who face off at the preliminary round.
KCCA FC will be in action against Orapa/Kigali with the first leg on December 22-23 before a return leg on January 5-6.
Elsewhere, Lumala Abdul’s Pyramids also received a bye at the preliminary round and will wait for the winner between Al Ittihad (Libya) and Somalia’s Horseed.
The Lugogo based side has during the period qualified for the group stages of both the CAF Confederation Cup and Champions league in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
KCCA FC will be targeting to reach the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup once again, having achieved the same feat in 2017.
The Kasasiro Boys finished third in group A on nine points, three behind Club Africain and same with FUS Rabat, though Moroccan club had a superior goal difference.
