Uganda is currently in campaigns as they edge towards the general election in Early 2021. President Museveni is battling it out with main opposition figure Bobi Wine for the top seat.
Mr Wine’s camp has always decried the government’s harassing and brutalising of their Candidate Bobi Wine. Just a few days ago, Bobi was arrested and detained after the government accused him of spreading COVID19 through his massive rallies.
Reports have emerged that heavily armed Ugandan Military together with the police surrounded Bobi Wine’s Hotel where he spent his night on Wednesday.

Bobi Wine has accused the government of trying to hinder their campaigns by blocking roads.
“Hoima, we were forced to use a very long route & arrived towards close of campaigns. The military yet again blocked us. They’ve followed us to our hotel and surrounded it- heavily armed military personnel, including non-uniformed ones travelling in a numberless military vehicle!”
