Airtel Uganda has extended its generous contribution of UGX 265 million towards the highly anticipated Kyabazinga Royal Wedding.
This was revealed through Airtel money’s managing director Japhet Aritho who was in the company of Airtel’s sales and distribution director Ali Balunywa during an event held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
Busoga Kingdom’s second prime minister Alhaji Osman Ahmed Noor received the dummy Chequers of 265m from Airtel and explained that Busoga kingdom received Shs 40m in cash and Shs 225M for other activities.
However ,the financial support from Airtel is expected to enhance the grandeur and success of this significant cultural event.
Recognizing the importance of the Kyabazinga Royal Wedding, Airtel demonstrated its commitment to supporting and celebrating cultural heritage through its substantial financial contribution, aiming to contribute to the successful organization and execution of this historic occasion.

Aritho said it was good and profound gratitude that this company had the opportunity to share the celebration of the Union between Kyabazinga and the Inhebantu Mutesi.
