The Senegal premier league has been cancled by the football governing body, known as senegal Football Association.
The Executive Committee of the senegal Football Association had a meeting yesterday in which all the members agreed to end the 2019/2020 season prematurely due to the fears of the spread of the covid-19.
The senegalese Premier League ,Ligue 2 and all other football competitions were suspended in mid-March of this year due to Corona Virus pandemic
The Senegal Premier League had the second round to be played as 13 games out of 26 had been played at the time of the suspension.
Teungueth FC and ASC Diaraf who were 1st and 2nd on the league standings, will represent senegal in the 2020/21 CAF Champions League and Confedaration Cup respectively.
There will be no winners, no relegations and no promotions.
Generation Foot were the defending Champions and ASC Diaraf are the most champions with 12 trophies.
