Her firstborn son Raphael passed away in July 2014 while being attended to at the Nairobi hospital in July 2014 where he had been referred for treatment. The young boy succumbed to asthma and Kanyamozi and her ex-husband, Amon Lukwago were on his side at the time of his death.
