Ex-Uganda Cranes coach Bobby Williamson forgoes KSh 1 million debt K’Ogalo owes him

Williamson spent just a year at the helm of affairs at Gor between 2013 and 2014, helping the KPL giants win the league title for the first time after nearly two decades.
The Scottish said he decided to forgo the debt when he learnt the club is also struggling financially.
Speaking to Nairobi News, the seasoned tactician revealed K’Ogalo still owed him money to the tune of KSh 1 million in salary and bonuses for lifting the domestic title. He, however, declared he had resolved to forgo the debt having learnt his former club were undergoing a turbulent financial crisis. “I love Gor Mahia so much but from what I see on the papers, the club has bigger (financial) problems. The chairman (Ambrose Rachier) is a good man who always tried to pay me on time. I respect him and will not pursue that cash,” Williamson said.
