Ssembabule Online Initiative Launched to Drive Digital Inclusion and Community Development

SSEMBABULE, September 26, 2026 — A new digital community development project, Ssembabule Online Initiative, has been officially launched in Sembabule District by James and James, with the aim of connecting residents to information, learning opportunities and digital services.

Operating under the theme “Connect. Learn. Grow,” the initiative seeks to use digital platforms to create opportunities for individuals, businesses and different community institutions across Sembabule.

According to the project information displayed at the launch, the initiative is designed to serve individuals, business owners, schools, health centres, farmers, youth and the wider Sembabule District community.

The initiative will particularly focus on communities in Mawogola North, Lwemiyaga, Mawogola County and Mawogola West, providing a platform through which residents can access and share useful information while embracing the growing importance of digital technology.
