Bruno Fernandes revealed what Manchester United did not know about Wan Bissak
Manchester United cruised to a much fought 4-1 victory at James Park on Saturday night as they returned to winning ways. The Red Devils went onto the games with confidence booming high but the fans were skeptical of Ole Gunnar Solkjaer’s choice of starting lineup, not knowing the secret plan of the Norwegian.
Luke Shaw found the back of his net in the 3rd minute but the Red Devils bounced back through Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Aaron Wan Bissaka, and Marcus Rashford. This was the second win of the season with United having one more game in hand against Burnley FC.
Aaron Wan Bissaka is the man who is known for fiercely defending and making tough tackles but today he scored his first goal for Manchester United. The English man is always not advanced in making crosses like the ones in which Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander Arnold usually makes but on Saturday he found himself scoring a goal with a rocket-like power.
After the game, Bruno Fernandes reacted to his teammate’s goal and said that they never knew Wan Bissaka could shoot. Bruno Fernandes: “We didn’t know he [Wan-Bissaka] can shoot!”
Wan Bissaka inherited Antonio Valencia’s throne at Old Trafford as the first choice center-back ahead of Diogo Dalot who left on loan to AC Milan. He recently caused a debate online after he replaced the England flag on his social media accounts with the one for the Democratic Republic of Congo.
