Arsenal in race for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida?
Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida has allegedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Arsenal.
Domagoj Vida is a Croatian footballer who plays as a defender for Turkish club Beşiktaş and the Croatia national team. He is capable of playing in any defensive position but is mostly deployed as a centre-back or right full-back.
While Vida is regarded as a first-team regular, Besiktas are said to be open to cashing in on the Croatia international due to his wages.
Although there will likely be upheaval at the Emirates Stadium this summer, Mikel Arteta may jump at the chance to sign Vida for a fee in the region of €10m (£8.95m).
The World Cup runner-up still has just over two years left on his contract
Domagoj Vida: “I am always dreaming to play in the Premier League. I do not know if the proposals will come again in this period. I would like [Besiktas] to make it easy for me.” he said all of that in 2018 after the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
