Tragic shooting claims the life of school headteacher in Napak
In a deeply distressing incident, the peaceful town of Napak has been shaken by the tragic shooting death of a dedicated school headteacher identified as Simon Peter llukol .
The shocking act of violence has sent shockwaves through the community of Namekwi village, Nawaikorot parish, Ngoleriet sub county residents in mourning and raising concerns about the safety and security of the area.
Meanwhile according to prevailing information the armed thugs attacked Nagul’angolol village but found the Uganda People’s Defence Force Forces on patrol .
The army was able to disperse them killing one of them who had been identified as Moses Keno .
As the thugs retreated after their ineffective hunt they crossed into Namekwi village only to find the headteacher who had come out of his house to ascertain the confusion outside in the late hours of the night and fortunately he was gunned down.
The untimely demise of the esteemed headteacher has left a void in both the educational institution and the hearts of students, staff, and the wider community.
As investigations unfold, local authorities are working diligently to apprehend those responsible for this heinous act and bring them to justice.
Preliminary investigations indicate the the gangs yet to be identified had a motive to steal animals in Nagul’angolol village but were repulsed by forces.
