Joel Madondo Set To Sign For FUFA Big League Club
Joel Madondo is on the verge of joining FUFA Big League side Gaddafi FC.
The former Busoga United striker ,Madondo is a free agent since parting ways with Wydad Casablanca after a torrid spell in Morocco.
Gaddafi has been chasing the signature of Madondo, and he is expected to pen a short term deal as he continues to pursue a lucrative deal abroad.
Madondo left Wydad Casablanca frustrated due to unpaid salaries at a club he joined in January 2020 from Uganda Premier league Club (Busoga United FC).
He has been targeted by Ghanian side Asante Kotoko and Uganda Premier League sides Vipers and Mbarara City FC.
The Soldier Boys, funded by the Army, have already acquired Didi Muhammad from Nairobi Stima, Lawrence Kasadha, Patrick Gonahasa and Steven Munguchi and Godwin Kawaga ahead of the Big League.
Eastern region side Gaddafi Football Club attained a berth to the StarTimes FUFA Big League.
Gaddafi FC overcame 3-0 North East region club Sansiro 3-0 during a promotional final played on Tuesday at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Patrick Asiku, Mark Bamukyaaye and second half substitute Ronald Bithum Nsumbiano netted the goals.
