U.S President Donald John Trump has demoted Campaign Manager Brad Parscale replacing him with former Republican Political operative Bill Stepien ahead of forthcoming elections in November.

“I am pleased to announce that Bill Stepien has been promoted to the role of Trump Campaign Manager,” Mr Trump said on Facebook.

“Brad Parscale, who has been with me for a very long time and has led our tremendous digital and data strategies, will remain in that role, while being a Senior Advisor to the campaign.”

Through Twitter on Wednesday, Trump said both Parscale and Stepien had been “heavily involved in our historic 2016 win, and I look forward to having a big and very important second win together.”

“This one should be a lot easier as our poll numbers are rising fast,” Trump continued, “the economy is getting better, vaccines and therapeutics will soon be on the way, and Americans want safe streets and communities!”

Parscale’s demotion followed a huge blow when Trump got annoyed with the way Parscale has been garnering his role ever since February 2018, as the final straw appeared to be a Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally last month (June) that drew an unexpectedly low crowd appearance of about 6,200 people yet Campaign Manager, Mr Parscale had bragged that more than a million people had requested tickets.

Donald Trump has been struggling in his re-election campaign against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as he overtakes him in recent polls. As Data releases on Wednesday, Biden was ahead of Trump by 15 percentage points, a very disappointing moment in the White House and Campaign staff.

Stepien had served as a campaign manager and deputy chief of staff to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a close confidant and adviser to Trump in 2016.

Parscale is expected to remain with Trump’s campaign in charge of digital and online strategies.
